It’s all in the family for Pennelope Jimenez, our Miss March 2003. Brown-haired and brown-eyed, with warm, caramel-colored skin, Pennelope was born in San Diego, raised in Mexico City and educated in southern California, all before she settled in Huntington Beach. “I’m a mutt,” she jokes. “My father’s family is Spanish, my mom’s mom is French, and we think that her father is Mexican. I may also be a little Filipino.” A major in sports medicine, Pennelope started modeling and acting on the side, appearing as one of Barker’s Beauties on The Price is Right and as one of the Rock’s girls in The Scorpion King. “That was my first movie,” she cringes. “I had four lines and I was freaking out!” From there, things were looking up – after a successful test shoot, Pennelope became our Miss March 2003. “I’d drop it all in a second for my family,” she says. “My ambition is to make my daddy proud!” When it comes to men, Miss Jimenez wants someone she can be proud of, and someone she can be herself around, too. “The guy of my dreams is tall, fit, caring and likes to cuddle,” she says. “Someone who likes to sit at home in sweats, order a pizza with ranch dressing and watch a movie on a Friday night – that’s my favorite thing to do!” Sounds delicious, and all the more so with a girl like Pennelope.
